New: Bulova Frank Sinatra Collection

Bulova releases a new collection in honour of legendary entertainer Frank Sinatra.

In continuation of the brand’s deep-rooted history in music appreciation, Bulova is pleased to announce an exclusive collection of timepieces dedicated to one of the world’s most iconic vocalists, Frank Sinatra. Bulova’s support of music has been seen through its current partnerships with organizations such as The Recording Academy, Latin Recording Academy as well as through special initiatives like Tune of Time or with non-profit partner, Windows of Hip Hop.

The brand commemorates the importance of music through this new collection of timepieces dedicated to nine-time GRAMMY® Award winner, Frank Sinatra.

Bulova’s connection to Frank Sinatra began in the 1950’s during The Frank Sinatra Show television program, also known as Bulova Watch Time, which the brand was the sponsor. The singer was also known to be a wearer of Bulova timepieces throughout his life. Paying tribute to the legendary performer, Bulova draws design inspiration from the 1950’s and 1960’s with unmistakable branding elements of the famed musician. The Frank Sinatra collection features an assortment of ten timepieces in a variety of case shapes and designs, each of which are named after some of his most beloved songs.

My Way

The first pieces are two tank-styles known as My Way. The novelty pieces are showcased in either a stainless steel or gold-tone stainless steel case.

The gold-tone version features a silvery white dial with a black calf strap while the stainless steel option is shown with a black dial and grey calf strap. Both pieces are powered by a Miyota Caliber 1L45 Quartz movement and feature gold-tone hands, numerals and indices.

The Best is Yet to Come

Three new pieces called, The Best is Yet To Come, feature an assortment of 40mm round cases in either stainless steel or gold-toned stainless steel.

One version is shown on a stainless steel case with a dual brush black dial and stainless steel hands and indices, placed on a stainless steel bracelet. Another stainless steel version features a cool gray dual brush dial with gold-tone indices and hands and a brown crocodile texture strap. The last piece from The Best is Yet To Come assortment features a stainless steel gold-tone case with a warm gray dual brush dial and gold-tone hands and indices complete with a black crocodile texture strap. Each piece in the assortment features an exhibition case back showcasing a Swiss Made Manual Wind Sellita SW215 Movement.

Fly Me to the Moon

Three pieces under the name Fly Me To The Moon are featured in a 39mm rounded case. A stainless steel case option is seen with a black fluted dial and gold-tone hands and indices placed on a brown lizard textured strap.

Another stainless steel version features a silver white dial with stainless steel hands and indices presented on a brown lizard textured strap. The third of the collection is presented in a gold-tone stainless steel case complete with a white fluted dial, gold tone hands and indices on a black lizard textured strap. The Fly Me To The Moon assortment is powered by a Miyota Caliber 8215 Automatic Movement seen through an exhibition case back.

Young at Heart

The last style pays homage to the legendary artist’s Young At Heart melody. This selection of timepieces is shown in a gold-tone stainless steel tonneau-shaped case.

One of the novelties is presented with a brown sunray brush dial inspired by Sinatra’s Whiskey partnership complete with a brown calf strap. The other is seen with a silver white sunray dial with a black calf strap. Both pieces hold a Miyota Caliber 8215 Automatic Movement seen through an exhibition case back.

Packaging

The entire collection shares design elements that pay tribute to Sinatra, including his iconic Fedora hat symbol on the crown of the timepieces, the song titles imprinted on the inside of the straps as well as on the case back and Frank Sinatra’s signature on the dial.

Each piece will be presented in special edition packaging inspired by a vinyl album box set with lyrics from Sinatra’s four famous songs surrounding the box and incorporating various vintage imagery. The Frank Sinatra collection will be available for purchase later this year on Bulova.com and other Bulova official retailers.
