Audemars Piguet releases 3 new versions of the Royal Oak Offshore Selfwinding Chronograph in black ceramic case, black dial and a textured rubber strap.

Audemars Piguet now offers its Royal Oak Offshore collection with a choice of smoked blue, green or grey dials, each incorporating the Manufacture’s “Mega Tapisserie” pattern and new Arabic numerals which supplant the customary applied hour-markers.
Both the blue and green dial options feature a 44 mm ceramic case with matching ceramic bezel, pushpieces and screw-locked crown. The pushpiece guards are executed in titanium.
The third version features a smoked grey dial combined with an 18-carat pink gold bezel and pushpiece guards. The case, pushpieces and screw-locked crown are made of black ceramic.
Housed within each model’s contemporary case is the Manufacture Calibre 3126/3840, harnessing traditional craftsmanship and watchmaking expertise. This selfwinding movement is comprised of 365 components and will run autonomously for at least 50 hours.
The new Royal Oak Offshore Selfwinding Chronograph is presented on a colour co-ordinated textured rubber strap, ideally suited to an active lifestyle.
These latest models will be sold exclusively in Audemars Piguet’s boutiques throughout the world.
Audemars Piguet continues to enhance and consolidate their strength in the Royal Oak Offshore department with this new showing of the Chronograph in 44mm with ceramic case. The colour options are very beautiful in the press photographs we received. As usual, we received the large format TIFF files which are much more detailed than what we show here, which is a reduced size jpeg. From the exif data, we know the photographs were made with the Phase One XF IQ4 100Mp camera, probably with the Schneider Kreuznach 120mm Macro (lens data not encoded).
The pricing seems rather reasonable, and remains the same as the current ROO Chronograph in ceramic case – smoked grey dial with blue accents (REF. #26405CG.OO.A004CA.01)m abs a small premium over the titanium cased REF. #26400IO.OO.A004CA.01 or the SS limited edition camouflage versions.
