F1 in Singapore: The watch related events that YOU can attend

• The Singapore Grand Prix is on the agenda again! This coming weekend (September 16-18), the Formula 1 races will get your heart racing, and as usual, watch companies are big sponsors of the race, some with teams racing under their banner. Here is our selection of MUST ATTEND events. These are open to the public which YOU can attend to catch the F1 spirit. And ready for the finals on September 18.

 

 

IWC Mercedes AMG Petronas Formula 1 Team

At Marina Bay Sands, an F1 racing simulator will be located next to the IWC Schaffhausen boutique on B1 level of The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands. Lewis Hamilton will make an exclusive appearance at Marina Bay Sands on 14 September 2016, where he will set his race lap time for the challenge, and also meet members of the public in a Q&A session. The public can then race on the simulator against Hamilton’s time to win F1 merchandise as prizes.

At ION Orchard Atrium, there will be a full scale replica of the Mercedes AMG Petronas Formula 1 Team garage where public can experience first hand on what goes behind the scenes of the racing team and get up-close with the dynamic Mercedes-AMG GT S, which is also the Official Safety Car of the 2016 FIA Formula One™. Nico Rosberg will make an exclusive appearance on 15 September 2016, where he will meet the public in a Q&A session.

Hamilton will be present at 7pm on Sept 14 in MBS and Rosberg at 3:15pm on Sept 15 in ION. (edited with latest timing)

Both locations open from September 10 to 18, from 10am to 10pm daily. 

 

 

TAG Heuer F1 Red Bull Racing

TAG Heuer will release the new Red Bull Special Edition Formula 1 watch. In addition, this special event will also feature performances by TAG Heuer ambassadors, singer G.E.M 邓紫棋 and appearance of F1 Red Bull Racing Team Driver Daniel Ricciardo.

Bell and Ross Renault Sport Formula One

 

Bell & Ross x Renault Sport Formula One Team will have a pop-up store at Paragon on 9-18 September 2016.

In addition, a Meet & Greet session featuring a special appearance by Renault Sport Formula One Team racing driver Jolyon Palmer will be held at 2.30pm on 15th September 2016 at the pop-up store. Fans looking to meet with Palmer will be entertained with activities such as the Batak challenge,where participants will test their reflexes, hand-eye coordination and concentration – the top 3 winners will be invited to pit their skills against Jolyon Palmer himself, and the winner with the best timing stands to walk away with a Bell & Ross watch.
