Now this, this was an enjoyable story to read on a mid Wednesday in the dog days of summer. Thank you for taking the time to share your (and your Dad’s story). Fatherhood is a journey, just like being a son or daughter is, but the joys are often view in hindsight when you see your children flourish in the ways they are supposed to. Not in the ways you imagined, but in the ways they’ve discovered.

A most humble thanks Peter for posting. Am truly grateful for dad, as life continues to be quite the journey. My dad would feel we’re all making far too much ‘fuss’ of what he did, and continues to do for others. He’s like that, humble, honest… and wants to help.
