Thanks Geo. I am not sure if Hasselblad will continue to support the original version with firmware updates. Their history with the H system suggests that new firmware will be only for the latest hardware. Also, though the latest Phocus versions will continue to work on files created by older cameras, the new features will only be supported with the new bodies.
