In an interesting development, Breitling releases two limited edition collaboration watches with national carrler Singapore Airlines. Available on the airline’s online platform KrisShop.

Two New Breitling Navitimers in a collaboration with Singapore Airlines

The Breitling Navitimer B01 Chronograph 41 Singapore Airlines Limited Edition is priced at SGD 13,950 and the Navitimer Automatic 38 Singapore Airlines Limited Edition is priced at SGD 7,850.

Commentary

Breitling’s involvement with aviation has been a longstanding trait within the brand for almost as long as the maison has been in existence. Its pilot watches are as iconic to the brand, and none more than the Navitimer. The Navitimer was introduced some 70 years ago, and as a Singapore based publication, we are very happy to see the collaboration with our national carrier – Singapore Airlines. The watches will be exclusively available carrier’s retail outlet is KrisShop, which offers products online or on-board on flights with in-flight shopping. KrisShop also already carry a selected lineup of Breitling watches on their catalog. The watches can also be purchased with Krisflyer miles.

Two models are offered. One the B01 Chronograph in 41mm and the other a time only automatic in 38mm. Both carry a blue dial and available in the Breitling 7 row stainless steel bracelet.

Other details of the watches are the same as the regular Navitimer B01 Chronograph 41 which was released recently and the Navitimer Automatic 38 with a small premium for the collaboration and 100 piece limited edition status of each..

Taking to the skies today, Swiss watchmaker Breitling and Singapore Airlines’ omnichannel retailer KrisShop, announce the launch of two limited-edition collaboration watches, limited to 100 pieces each.

To mark the 70th anniversary of its iconic Navitimer pilot’s watch, Breitling is launching a new collaboration with Singapore Airlines and its travel retailer, KrisShop. Together, they have released two interpretations of the legendary aviation timepiece, each with a unique co-created design limited to 100 pieces.

The ‘Navitimer B01 Chronograph 41 Singapore Airlines Limited Edition’ has Singapore Airline’s distinct shade of blue as its dial color and its logo engraved on the crown. The ‘Navitimer Automatic 38 Singapore Airlines Limited Edition’ features both a blue dial and a caseback engraved with the airline’s signature batik motif. The watches retail exclusively on KrisShop, under the Batik Label concept store that showcases one-of-a-kind collaborations in the intricate floral motif that has become synonymous with the airline.

NAVITIMER SINGAPORE AIRLINES LIMITED EDITION

For 70 years, Breitling’s original pilot’s watch has been beloved by aviators and tastemakers in equal measure. Worn by an astronaut in space and the biggest stars on Earth, it is Breitling’s most iconic timepiece. This year, Breitling honoured the legend with the introduction of the new Navitimer design that captures its most classic features, while enhancing them with modern refinements.

The Navitimer B01 Chronograph 41 Singapore Airlines Limited Edition is unmistakably a Navitimer with the circular slide rule, baton indexes, trio of chronograph counters and notched bezel for easy grip. It also features a flattened slide rule and a domed crystal to create the illusion of a more compact profile.

A slimmer silhouette on the oscillating weight enhances the open- caseback view of the COSC-certified Breitling Manufacture Caliber 01. This movement is backed by a five-year warranty, provides approximately 70 hours of power reserve, and allows the wearer to change the date – now visible through a discreet window in the subdial at 6 o’clock – at any time.

The Navitimer Automatic 38 Singapore Airlines Limited Edition, meanwhile, provides a self- winding alternative to the 41 in a trimmer 38mm format without chronograph.

Its Breitling 17 movement offers an approximate 38-hour power reserve and comes with a two-year warranty. It features a beaded bezel and special caseback engraving of the renowned Singapore Airlines batik motif.

Both timepieces come with an elegant stainless steel bracelet. They each feature the Singapore Airlines logo on the caseback along with the limitation number “One of 100”.
