people call hublot terrible but they have some very unique time pieces… these are the same bums that are actually wearing a boring stainless steel rolex sub or a bum jubilee like every other clown out there – with no balls to wear something unique…they obviously aren’t vintage and if you collect vintage its def a different category ….AP and PP are def two of the top 5 or 6 but no one would compare the two they are in different tiers so why do people say that like the bum reviewer above – but some people enjoy those and some people enjoy hublot as they make watches more for fun people than the boring conservative wall street fags

I was initially interested by Hublot when Herr Biver took over but I have come to think of the brand as up market Swatch with over the top pricing. I don’t care for all the hype with celebrities and other ‘editions’. I can’t come to terms with the suggestion (notion) that Hublot is in the same league as AP or PP. I (almost) find the suggestion offensive if not just downright ridiculous. “All that glitters is not gold” is epitomised by Hublot!

I own a GP chronometer from 1967 and 90% of my collection outdates me at 44 years old. Hublot makes fine watches and are very innovative in design and marketing aspects, but as a vintage collector they are simply not on my radar. Great article
