Does this exceptional finish include for example the many scratches and various imperfections of steel parts like the cock or screws on the dial side? Judging by those high-res photos I would say that a Voutilainen watch is much closer to ‘exceptional finish’ with that price tag than this piece. In the spirit of good, informative watch journalism I would welcome the clarification of those widely used phrases like ‘in-house developed’ regarding the balance. To me, making a (good) balance is one of the boldest expression of the watchmakers craft. In-house developed means that actually somebody else made the balance? Stop seconds mechanism is impressive! Can the author who saw the timepiece in person maybe explain what the left lever is for?
