De Bethune continues to impress this year with the novelties.
We begin with DB28 Yellow Tones. 42.6mm in titanium which is heat treated to achieve this cool yellow/brown colour. With the SS/palladium 3D moonphase. CHF 95,000 LE 25. The lugs are now smaller and articulating.
Next the DB21 Maxichrono Re-Edition in a titanium. The lugs are heat treated to achieve a blue in matte finish. Retaining the Absolute Clutch system of the original with all 5 hands centrally fixed. LE of 10 pieces at CHF 155,000.
And we have the DB27 Fort Aero a collaboration with Fort Aero, a private jet company based in Astonia. De Bethune offered us a private jet flight from Geneva to Basel but as I was traveling from Paris, was not able to take up the offer.
The watch is a LE of 5 pieces, Ti case with the Delta shape on the dial, microlight decoration on the case side and dial, open articulating lugs whic are brushed finish to contrast with the high polish case. The rotor is a stylized in the shape of a turbine of a jet engine.

And finally a reacquaintance to the SIHH novelty. The DB28 GS Grand Bleu, the first De Bethune diving watch rated to 105m. It is inspired by a French movie Grand Bleu where the hero dives to 105m.
Unidirectional rotation bezel. Case in Ti, 44mm. A pusher at 6 releases some of the energy from the mainspring to power 4 LED to illuminate the screen. Power Reserve is 5 days without using this illumination. And the feature will be blocked once the power reserve drops to 1 day.
Currently the tip of the hands are coated with SuperLuminova but De Bethune is working in a new material called Blue Moon to replace the SuperLuminova. This is in collaboration with Black Badger.
