It turns out during the most controversial ending in Oscars history, there was a watch that happened to be right in the middle of all of it and was on the wrist of Warren Beatty tucked up his sleeve!
Warren Beatty was wearing a Cartier Santos on his wrist during the mix up over who won the Best Picture Award. He was wearing a Santos on leather strap recognizable by its sapphire cabochon in the crown and its rectangular screwed bezel.
