And we come to the final piece in the 10 Lange 1 odyssey which began with in SIHH. One new Lange 1 every month, each with a different complication (or none), and each with the 25th Anniversary colourway. The Lange 1 Tourbillon 25th Anniversary is the last piece in the collection.
Except for the first Lange 1 Anniversary in SIHH which is limited to 250 pieces, all the other pieces are limited to 25 pieces. And the final “crowning glory” of the collection comes in the tourbillon.
The Lange 1 Tourbillon has been in the collection since 2000, and for the Lange 1 20th Anniversary celebrations in 2014, the Handwerkskunst version in an in-house black enamel dial and special handworked decorations was released. Here is our detailed report on the Lange 1 Tourbillon Handwerkskunst.
The 2019 version of the Lange 1 Tourbillon is presented in silver and blue, like the other anniversary pieces. The case is 38.5mm and in white gold, with the solid silver argenté coloured dial that contrasts with the blued steel hands.
The new Lange 1 Tourbillon aperture is now opened up in full, to show the sapphire glass disc for the outsized date.
The inscriptions are printed in blue, including the numerals of the outsize date.
