I have a set of Fuji’s at the moment X-T1, T2 and T3 and lenses. I’m transitioning from Nikon full frame and have nearly all of my old equipment sold.
I do love to print and have an Epson 3880 A2 printer that delivers amazing results.
I just find it hard to spend that amount of money for a gain in image quality that would belie the price. Now, if someone wanted to sponsor me a Leica, then I would gladly change system. 😎

Good for you Anthony. The X-T4 is certainly a very capable camera, and you will get excellent photographs with it.

That said, IMHO, the SL is significantly better than any APS-C camera. The image quality approaches, or even exceeds the GFX in many areas. How much better is it, and are the improvements are worth the money? Only you can decide. For me, it is a budget decision. If I had that kind of money to spend on a new camera, the SL2 is definitely on the very short list.

BTW, I love that you are keeping some budget aside for a printer. Printing your work is one of the joys of photography. Again for me, I already have a 24″ Canon iPF6350 12 ink printer, so that department is taken care of, so to speak.

Leicas reputation cannot justify the price when compared with other brands.
