Corum skipped Baselworld this year, and in its place, they presented their novelties in Beijing, China. Here are the highlights, live from China.
We begin with the Admiral line.
Shown below is the Admiral 42 All Black in full black PVD over SS, . 42mm dodecagonal case 50m WR. LE 100. Automatic. S$ 9,100 inclusive of GST.
A new Admiral AC-38 Automatic for ladies. In Ti case and RG. Both with diamond-set bezel. S$11,800 in Ti shown below. S$27,400 in RG.
Admiral 45 Chronograph w integrated bracelet, leading up to the 60th Anniversary of the Admiral next year. In RG shown below S$34,100. Also in Ti S$15,400.
Four new Admiral 45 Openworked. Two time only, in Ti and RG and black PVD Ti. In Ti below S$44,300 and S$54,200 for RG with black PVD Ti. The openwork looks particularly appealing.
The Golden Bridge line gets extensions. To the traditional tonneau men’s and ladies now available with snow set diamonds. The Round pieces also get black PVD Ti.
And two new Golden Bridges Round, both with diamond-set bezel, and a dragon sculpture. Shown below in RG. The other version is in WG rhodium. Each version is limited to 18 pieces. A realistic, vibrant, Chinese 3D dragon wrapping itself around the golden bridge. The WG case has a WG dragon over the WG movement. And the RG with RH dragon on a WG movement. S$168,400 for RG and $$178,700.
And two artistic pieces under their Heritage Collection. Based on the Corum history and their coin line. Various new extensions. We focus on two:
First the Lab 01. The Lab is Corum’s playground for experimenting. In this new announcement, two models are released in a Damascus steel case with black PVD. The coating is also finger print resistant coating and rubberized side inserts. Tonneau case. Automatic movement. Two new versions in Damascus steel adds to two earlier versions in black PVD. The final version will be release circa 3Q this year. For the two new versions, one will come with a dial with green accents, and the other blue. Both LE 99 pcs each. Price S$22,600 for either colour.
Also the art series Vanitas adds three artists creating for the skull themed series. Enamel work on the dial. All in SS. S$29,700.
The Bubble also gets an extension with new models but the overall collection is rationalised and the number of SKUs have reduced.
New is the Bubble Monopusher Chronograph with Nose Art dial. S$ 12,000 LE 87, in Ti case.
