Of course, case diameter is only part of the story. Even with only a 6.125 ” wrist, I can wear a medium sized dial if it is thin enough, or has a shorter lug to lug, etc.
Then of course there is the value proposition. Many people will not, or cannot, direct thousands of dollars for a watch.
A Grand Seiko or Tudor are certainly worth their price. But it is the well executed entry level model that allows our hobby to grow.
Even some microbrands, who should be leading the way on affordable excellence are charging prices dangerously close to the established names.
We need more watches for smaller wrists- and smaller budgets -that are still worth owning. .
