With the US Presidential Election for 2016 close to reaching its climax, this weeks Spot the Watch is on Republican candidate Donald Trump’s two sons: Donald Trump Jr and his younger brother Eric Trump. No political agenda whatsoever just spotting of timepieces on their wrists.
First up is Donald Trump Jr and his choice of watches. We spotted him with a Rolex Submariner while browsing through some photographs of him but the watch that got our attention was from IWC. He is wearing an Aquatimer 2000 with inner rotating bezel. Pairing a dive watch with a suit seems like a bit of a mismatch but is perfectly acceptable. The likelihood of the watch being used for actual diving is probably low.

Next up is Eric Trump. We have noticed he likes watches with chronographs. The first watch spotted on his wrist is from Zenith and is immediately identifiable from its colour scheme. It is a El Primero Rainbow created during the period when Thierry Nataf was CEO of Zenith. You get a timepiece which features a movement that doesn’t need an introduction but the aesthetics are not every ones cup of tea.

The final watch spotted is from Breitling. More specifically a Chronomat Chronograph in stainless steel with white dial. It is instantly recognisable from its bezel and stainless steel bracelet. A decent timepiece but with the additional of the bracelet it may be a bit flashy with a suit.
